JORDAN & JOEY.
When this Missoula native brought her betrothed Seattleite home to Montana to select a wedding venue, we focused on the clean modern aesthetic they thought they wanted. But, listening to their reactions at each property, we asked if they would go off-piste with us & consider something totally different: a rustic lodge with capacity for only half of their guest list. After our tour, we caught sight of Joey—who, until now, had been mostly quiet, deferring to Jordan—his eyes brimming with tears. It was what they truly wanted all along: a special place, a more intimate gathering.
